Welcome to support for Maze Runner, a fast neon arcade maze game for iOS and Android. Or write to us directly at skevinhpatel@gmail.com. To help us help you faster, please mention your device model and OS version (for example, “iPhone 14, iOS 26” or “Pixel 7, Android 14”) and the level or screen where the issue happened.

How to play

Guide your runner from the start to the glowing goal before the timer runs out. Swipe in any direction (or use the on-screen arrows, or a keyboard) to move through the maze, and grab the coins along the way. Every maze is generated fresh, so no two runs are ever the same — and the mazes get bigger and trickier as you climb the levels.

Playing, time & stars

How do I complete a level?

Move through the maze and reach the glowing goal in the far corner before the timer runs out. You don’t have to collect every coin to finish — but coins boost your score and pay for power-ups, so they’re worth grabbing.

What do the stars mean, and how do I get 3 stars?

You can earn up to 3 stars per level, based on how fast you finish. Beat the level’s “par” time for 3 stars, finish a bit slower for 2, and just reaching the goal earns 1. Learn the layout, take the most direct route, and use the freeze power-up on tough runs to chase a perfect time.

What happens if the timer runs out?

The run ends without completing the level — just tap to try again. The maze for a given level is always the same, so each attempt helps you learn the fastest route.

Coins & power-ups

What are coins for?

Coins are the in-game currency. Collect them inside each maze, then spend them on power-ups during a run or on skins & themes in the shop. Coins you collect are banked when you complete the level.

What power-ups are there?

Three, each bought with coins during a level:

How do I get more coins?

Collect them inside the mazes, or tap the “+ coins” option to watch a short rewarded ad for a coin bonus. Rewarded ads are always optional.

How do I unlock new skins & themes?

Open the Shop from the main menu and spend your coins on skins and themes to personalise your runner and the maze. Purchases are made with earned coins — there’s no real-money purchase required.

Progress, cloud saves & devices

I reinstalled the app or got a new phone — how do I restore my progress?

Your progress is saved on your device and, when you’re signed in, also to Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android). To restore after reinstalling or on a new phone, make sure you’re signed in to the same Game Center or Play Games account (and, on iOS, iCloud) that you used before, then simply open Maze Runner.

On the first open after a fresh install, the app may show level 1 for a few seconds while it signs in and downloads your cloud save — it will then update to your saved progress on its own, no need to reopen. If you played without signing in, progress was stored only on that device and is removed when the app is deleted. If your progress still doesn’t return, email us and we’ll help.

How do I sync progress across devices?

Sign in to the same Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android) account on each device (and keep iCloud on for iOS). Your levels, stars, coins, and settings are saved to your own cloud account and restore automatically when you open the app.

How do I reset my progress?

Open the app’s Settings and choose Reset progress. This permanently erases your local levels, stars, and scores, so use it only if you want a fresh start.

Ads

Why does the game show ads?

Maze Runner is free, and ads (served through Google AdMob) keep it that way. Rewarded ads are always optional — they only play when you choose to earn coins. You may also see an occasional interstitial ad between levels.

Can I pay to remove ads?

There is currently no in-app purchase to remove ads. If that changes, we’ll announce it in an update. Thanks for supporting the game by watching the occasional ad — it genuinely helps.

Notifications & other

How do I turn notifications on or off?

Push notifications are optional and can be turned off or on anytime in your device’s settings for Maze Runner:

Changes take effect right away — no need to reinstall.

Which devices are supported? Can I play offline?

Maze Runner runs on recent versions of iOS and Android. It’s fully playable offline, with no sign-up. You’ll need a connection only for ads and for cloud sync.

Report a bug or request a feature

Found something that doesn’t look right, or have an idea to make the game better? We’d love to hear it. Email skevinhpatel@gmail.com with a short description. For bugs, please include your device model, OS version, and the level or screen where it happened — screenshots help a lot. The more detail, the faster we can help.

Data & privacy

We keep things private by design: no account is required, and Maze Runner never needs your name or email. Progress is saved on your device and, if you sign in, to your own Game Center or Play Games account. Ads are served through Google AdMob. For full details on what limited data is collected and how it’s used, see our Privacy Policy.
